I really love the idea, gives the game a Gothic-like feel (in case anyone still knows that game) where you'd heal by either eating or sleeping or magic (spells or potions), but there'd be no innate health regeneration. Haven't tested Regenerate Health enchantments yet. So for now I'll ignore any potions of regeneration.

I've checked in SSEEdit, there are no other mods that override the records Subsistence makes in relation to regeneration (in fact for GameSettings and Race it's the only one I've got). Which, when you have 700HP, is a LOT (+35 HP/s) for a LONG time (30s). Not instant, like the foods from Nordic Cooking when used together with this mod, but it feels more like 5% of your maximum HP per second instead of 5 points per second. Instead of giving +5 HP/s for 30s like it says, the regeneration rate is insanely high. Unfortunately I found that Regenerate Health potions (self-crafted or otherwise) of any kind don't seem to work like intended. if you're wearing a +50% regeneration artifact when executing ForceAV, you'll have to get MORE than 50% regeneration buff before you'll notice any effect at all). This does not result in negative health regeneration, but it creates a higher threshold for regeneration effects to first apply (i.e. when you unequip your Ring of Regeneration). The latter approach is the safer one, as you might have positive regeneration effects when the command is executed, which -in the case of ForceAV- would result in a negative HealRateMult as soon as the positive effect wears off (e.g. However, HealRateMult cannot be edited directly in the CK or SSEEdit, but needs to be changed in game via console command (which in turn can be implemented via script): Either Player.ForceAV HealRateMult 0, or Player.ModAV HealRateMult -100. This avoids incompatibilities and is much more flexible. The solution to the dilemma would be to work with HealRateMult instead of HealRate. That is completely independent from HealRate or HealRateMult, which is why other mods that make potions heal over time instead of instantly still work. As a result, instead of giving Health Regeneration, foods in Subsistence RESTORE a flat amount of 1-2 HP per second for a set duration. By decreasing HealRate to a marginally small number, anything that affects HealRateMult is still going to result in practically no regeneration at all because 0.0001 * whatever = practically nothing. Modifiers to HealRateMult are usually additive, so if you got an additional ring that gives another +20%, you have a HealRateMult of 170, and so on. This means you'll regenerate 1.05% of maximum health per second with that equipped (i.e. Example: a set of chest armor with a +50% Health Regeneration enchantment will increase your HealRateMult by 50, totalling 150. Now, if you have active effects that improve your regeneration, their magnitude is added to HealRateMult. HealRateMult is the multiplier related to it, and it's normally at 100. HealRate is normally 0.7% of the player's maximum health, so if you have 1000 health, you'll regenerate 7 hp/s.

Regeneration in Skyrim works through HealRate * HealRateMult.

HealRate is part of Race data, so you'll have incompatibility with mods that alter anything else in the Race record (e.g. Subsistence achieves its goal of eliminating health regeneration by lowering the actor value HealRate to a number very close to 0 (like, 0.0001 or something, I don't know exactly). I've gotten used to it and just eliminated anything regeneration-related from my inventory, and I've kept the mod for a 400-hour playthrough, which speaks for its general quality and its positive effect on gameplay - I love how the foods are balanced. There are no incompatibilities with Ordinator per se, however you cannot really use anything that applies REGENERATION effects (potions of regeneration are way too strong, other mods like Nordic Cooking that have food with regeneration effects go bonkers, enchanted equipment has no noticeable effect).
